Michael McCurry is a 30 year veteran of the meetings & events industry. He began his career at the Hyatt Regency O’hare in 1979 as a Front Desk Agent. He eventually joined the Convention Services Department and continued that role at several hotels until joining Conferon (now Experient) in 1985. There has been a lot of discussion in the business world lately about a relatively new genre of events, “hybrid meetings.”virtualmeeting

Briefly, the term “Hybrid” refers to an event containing both “Live” and “virtual” components working together. In Wikipedia, the term “hybrid” is defined as “the combination of two or more different things, aimed at achieving a particular objective or goal.”
